Typical time commitment is 1 - 2 hours per month for Exec Team meetings and position responsibilities. Depending on the month's planned event schedule, Vice President may have a greater time commitment.
Documentation-Loving, Meeting-Scheduling, Exec-Assisting Organizer
Coordinate Exec meetings
Follow-up with and assist Exec members with planned events/initiatives
Maintain chapter shared accounts / log-ins (bank, gmail, MailChimp, Evite)
Complete annual form and documentation for Phi Mu Fraternity Headquarters in Officer Portal (annually)
Event-Planning, Email-Recruiting, Social Media-Managing Visionary
Facilitate alumnae chapter recruitment efforts by maintaining/ reaching out to Interest list of recent grads and local alumnae provided by Phi Mu
Plan roughly monthly events in collaboration with other Exec teammates
We try to alternate betwee an easy, passive event (i.e. Book Club) and more involved events. We also have been hosting 1 ticketed signature event, Founders' Day
Manage Facebook and Instagram chapter pages
Detail-Oriented, Paypal-Loving Numbers Whiz
Create annual budget and track actual expenses and dues payments
Assess and approve planned event expenses
Maintain chapter bank account and PayPal
Plan and distribute annual dues-paying member 'Thank You' goodie (buttons, decals, etc.)
Creative, Canva Graphics-Loving, Communicator
Compile monthly / bi-monthly email newsletter in MailChimp
Monitor chapter gmail account and reply to / forward messages
Update chapter website with photos and upcoming events
Take minutes at Formal Business chapter meetings, like Elections
CMNH-Loving, Volunteer Opprtunity-Driven Brainstormer
Plan philanthropic and fundraising projects and opportunities in alignment with Phi Mu Fraternity initiatives
i.e. Virtual 5K for CMNH, National Philanthropy Day in October, M3 Promotion in March
Coordinate with Vice President to execute events and event promotion
Values-Focused, Relationship-Building Representative
Attend monthly Columbus Alumnae Panhellenic Association meetings and communicate back fundraising, service, and social opportunities to the chapter
Would love to plan a social event with another Panhellenic chapter someday!
